Is anyone else having a hard time hearing the interview with Drew Kesse on the homepage? I can barely hear him, even with the volume turned all the way up on my speakers and on the clip. Wondered if anyone else was having this problem?

Thanks, Dan. I plugged my headphones in and was able to listen that way. Drew is such an eloquent speaker...there something very calming about listening to him talk. Which is weird considering the subject matter, but listening to him talk about his daughter it's obvious there's so much love there...unconditional love.
Sometimes I think someone was incredibly jealous of Jennifer and wanted her out of the picture. She'd been out of college for 2.5 years and already promoted two or three times, she was the supervisor of the finance department at her work, she had just bought a $200,000+ condo, she had a lot of friends and obviously a very wonderful family, and she had a good boyfriend and was falling in love. She is beautiful, sounds like she's very sweet and has a wonderful personality. How could you not be at least a little jealous of that? How many people have that much going for them in their lives ? There wasn't anyone who was talking about Jennifer, expressing jealousy over her lifestyle? A co-worker, a friend, perhaps even a family member (like distant family member)? Someone who seemed to be following every detail of her life?

LOL, yeah, well i have been saying that for a long time, some one wanted her and or was extremely jealouse of her, her getting promoted 3 times in a short time really makes me wonder, somebody had to be hacked off i would be willing to bet. I have said it many times I believe she knows or was aquainted with the kidnapper in some fashion. I will never believe it was a random kidnapping till im proved wrong, it was just way to clean and neat, someone had to of studied her and probably stalked her as well.
I so agree about Drew, heck the whole family is awesome and Drew and Joyce have done a fantastic job in raising their children.

Yes, people do get very jealous and sometimes plain nasty over that kind of stuff. I received a promotion 6 months after my college graduation at my place of employment. There were other staff members who had been there longer and they weren't always very nice to me when I got promoted. I was nowhere near the professional success of Jennifer getting more than one promotion and being able to afford a $200,000 condo, so I would imagine she did have some "haters"...maybe they kept their feelings hidden well.

P.S. - Have we ever talked about what the chances are of Jennifer having actually made it to her place of employment that morning - even to just the parking lot?
She maybe planned to arrive early to get caught up on work (a common behavior when people have been out of the office a few days). I believe Jennifer had a meeting scheduled early in the morning, which would give her even more reason to get to the office early - get caught up and/or prepare. This could also explain why she hadn't called Rob yet - he didn't wake up as early as she did, right? So, she doesn't want to wake him up...figures she'll get to work, get some stuff done, and give him a call during their normal time. She gets to work early...maybe doesn't even get past the parking lot... and has a chance encounter with a hater colleague who abducts her and then pays someone to get her car off the premises and park it in HOG. Throwing suspicions off her workplace/colleagues, and making it look more like the crime happened closer to her home.
A few questions about this possibility: 1. What time do Westgate employees arrive to work? Would the parking lot normally be empty early in the morning (say 7:00?), and if not, is it possible someone could have missed seeing her pull into the parking lot? 2. Are there surveillance cameras at Westgate that would have captured her pulling into the parking lot? (Hopefully if so, their footage has been reviewed.) 3. Have areas around Jennifer's workplace been searched? Didn't someone on the forum find a field close to her workplace? 4. Would her cell phone activity ping from different towers as she was heading to work, or stay the same? How far could she go before her cell phone would pick up its signal from another tower?
I have always suspected one of the construction workers was responsible for this...but I keep trying to think outside of the box. If Jennifer did leave for work early, and there seems to be a pretty strong belief that she did, then someone who watched her routine regularly at home would have caught her only be chance that morning - it couldn't have been planned. If she normally left for work at 7:45, that person wouldn't be expecting to see her at say 6:45.

I think it was kicked around somewhat but not very much F_J, but you may be right, the scenario is very possible, it sure would explain no sign of a struggle in her condo and the parking lot. I still believe it was planned and not a random act. I would think if a person was going to do something like this they would be somewhere early to get things ready and scope out the neighbors for activity and for any activity around the area.
It would be nice to know if there were cameras in her lot at work and see a picture of the place she worked at, maybe an aerial shot. She had to of been taken either at her condo or where she possibly stopped to mail phone, or at work, providing she got there early. I still think why would she stop to mail phone, she could of mailed it from work, as many have said im sure they had fed ex and ups stop by on a regular basis. To me that makes more sense unless she absolutely would not use the company that way. This is a question maybe rob, or drew, or joyce could answer, if she would do a personal thing like that from work or not, some folks would not at all, but most would.

I have always suspected a Westgate contact, business or other, as the perp behind her abduction. The motive could be as racist as Arab versus white, female, upwardly mobile, or Latino drug money going "legit" and recruiting a "gringa" for God only knows what perverse purposes, but jealousy and especially revenge could explain the motive. I don't think OPD dared to profile Jennifer's business contacts for the month or months previous to her abduction. I don't think the FBI will hesitate to do so. Big money pulled this off, quietly and seemlessly. Stupid/perverted sex criminals, even the smart serial ones, let something slip after 4 years, something is heard to give some kind of direction to an investigation. Wikth Jennifer, it was more like a commando operation, complete with the show that POI put on for the camera.
